WHAT ARE LASH EXTENSIONS MADE OF?
Lash extensions can be made of different things. Lashes that I use are synthetic mink, vegan, and cruelty free.
HOW LONG DO LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
The life of lash extensions varies, depending on your lifestyle! Avoid getting lashes wet the first 24 hours. All products with oils in them avoid around your eyes. Rubbing/touching eyes. Extreme humidity/sweating. Etc. There will be some maintenance in keeping good care of your lashes, but in doing so will have your lashes lasting three weeks or more. However, most times lashes will last within two weeks before needing a fill.
HOW LONG DOES A LASH LIFT/TINT LAST?
A lash lift will last up to 8 weeks. You will need to avoid getting lashes wet for 24 hours. The tint will last up to 4 weeks and you are able to safely re-tint lashes after 4 weeks.
HOW LONG DOES THE BROW LAMINATION/ TINT LAST?
A brow lamination will last up to 8 weeks, while the tint will last up to 4 weeks. You are able to safely re-tint brows after 4 weeks.
WILL LASH EXTENSIONS RUIN MY NATURAL LASHES?
No. Lash extensions do not ruin your natural lashes when done properly. I do consider what your natural lash can handle by selecting a proper length and thickness. This also goes into consideration if any client is wanting to go longer in length, the integrity of your natural lashes is my top priority. Natural lashes shed every day and the loss of 3-5 natural lashes a day is normal, keeping in mind that natural lashes will shed with their extension as they are attached!
WHAT IS THE LASH EXTENSTION APPLICATION PROCEDURE LIKE?
The lash extension application is painless, gentle and relaxing. Many of my clients enjoy a lash nap since my lash bed is very comfortable with an ergonomic curve neck pillow, lash bed topper, and leg rest (which can be viewed on my IG). I will begin the service with a lash bath and follow with applying foam or gel eye pads. They will protect your lower lashes from your upper lashes getting stuck together. I then will prime your lashes which helps ensure there is a good bond and sometimes tape your eyelid up to give me the best view of your lashes. I do love talking with my clients, but sometimes during application it moves your eyelids and can also make application more difficult, so I will kindly say no talking while I try to apply lash extensions if needed in a certain area of the eye.
